Alex was sitting in Dave's house one day, and Dave had gone outside to do something. Alex was feeling kind of lazy, so he didn't go with Dave. After a not-so-long time, Alex got bored. Anyone with any experience with dragons knows that this is not a good thing. It's like when a dog gets bored, only worse.
Much worse. Alex started exploring Dave's house, looking for something interesting. He eventually came to the kitchen, and started looking in the refrigerator. Not finding anything very interesting in there,(Dave kept all his meat in the chest freezer in the basement.) he looked above it and opened the freezer and ended up knocking
Dave was taking a walk though his land in the woods while on vacation at his cabin. He liked to get far away from the city and all its chaos and noise for a few months, once in a while. Shortly after starting down the path that went around his land, he heard an odd sound. He stopped and listened, thinking it was probably a deer. He waited, listened and looked around, to see if it would move again.
He heard nothing, so he started walking again. But only a few seconds passed and he heard it again, coming from the same direction. He stopped, waiting to see if he would hear it again. The sound came again. It was kind of a groaning sound.
Ah, Christmas Eve. It's that time of year that little kids look forward to with glee and parents' bank accounts dread. White snow on the ground, different color lights hung up all over the house with holiday decorations pinned on the walls. Only one thing was missing, the Christmas tree.
"You ready Eth?" Dad asked me as he walked into my computer room.
"Yeah, let me just save my work." I replied, quickly saving a story I had been writing.
"Don't take too long," he said to me, urging me along with just his tone, "Ma and I got the trailer all hooked up, waiting on you."
"Be right there." I told him as I got out of my chair and pushed t
Snow, what a thing for me to be staring at. I just stood there in the dining room on the last Saturday of November looking out the window to the front pasture as a winter wonderland lay just past the glass. It was one of those snows that fell over night. One day, brown grass, the next a foot or so of white snow and it was everywhere. On the car, on the trucks, the roofs, the trees, everything and it was still coming down.
"Flurries all day today, all week and into the weekend." said the weather man on the radio as Mom listened to it in the breezeway, "A high of 18 degrees with a low in the single digits for today and it'll only get colder as
With Thanksgiving coming up fast, in fact it was the day before when things really got moving. It had gotten to be a bit hectic in the house. Mom was busy trying to get everything in order for the big day and I tried to stay out of her way.
"Out, Out." she said as she shooed me out of the kitchen when I tried to get a drink.
"But all I want is a glass of Kool-Aid." I pleaded.
"You can get it after I'm done preparing the turkey." she shot back, "I have a lot of food out on the counters and I don't want you bumping them with your wings and ruining them. Now out."
I got out of the raging chaos of the kitchen and went outside to the yard
It was just another Friday in my first fall season as a dragon, I woke up, got dressed, hauled the trash, got my breakfast, brushed my teeth and was finally ready to for the day. The question was what I was going to do with my time. Fridays are just days of boredom for me since I didn't have anything to do on them. No class, no work, that week there wasn't even a test to study for and I had written all my papers for my English class.
"Well." I said to myself as I sat on my couch and let out a sigh, "I'm bored."
It just came to either playing a game or finding something else to do. I debated whether I should go for a walk or fly just for
With Halloween coming up fast and me being the big dreamer I am, but with very little free time to do it all in, I was staring at the calendar in the kitchen Saturday morning just trying to see if I could mentally stretch that last two weeks out.
"You can't stare at that calendar to make the two weeks last longer Big Red," Sam said as she came into the kitchen to get her breakfast, "You're just wasting what time you do have."
"I don't have a costume idea." I replied, still staring at the dates in front of me, "Halloween is coming up next weekend and I still haven't got a clue of what I could be. John said they were going trick or treatin

You are walking along a gravel path, bumpy and uneven due to its little use. Green foliage, wooden bark of great trees, all of these surround you as you walk down the path, absent minded, thinking only of whatever your journey may bring, and not caring about whatever that may be. You take a deep breath, greeted by the scent of chlorophyll and pollen, and the undeniable anti-smell of clean air. You can hear the sounds of nature around you, chirps, calls, scuttling paws, even just the rustle of branches against each other, and bushes against the grass. The greene

The New Kid: Chapter 6
I felt a prickling feeling on my face. I tried to move my hand to brush it away, but I couldn't. I felt tension when I tried to move my arm, what was going on? I opened my eyes, but only to see what I saw before. Nothing. I couldn't see anything, it was pitch black. What the hell...where was I? I remember being at home, that was it...then I needed to go out for something. Reeds, I needed saxophone reeds. But I didn't have the car, so I took dad's Ferrari. Then it was stolen, I needed to find it! Wait...it was at that warehouse, with that Dodge. Stephan and I snuck into it...but I started to feel sleepy. Everything was in a white mist, I c

Dragon Chronicles Chapter 1
Destiny is kind of a weird thing. People say that everyone is in control of their own destiny and some say that there is a higher power that helps control the path where your destiny goes. They say that the higher power knows what will happen to you even before youre born. All of the pieces just fall into place and you will have to make the right decision when you get to that road.
My name is Jeffrey Hunyor and I guess you could say that I wasnt one of the normal kids around with my sister and brother. You see, we were born as triplets with a birthmark of a dragon on our shoulders. Their names are of course Jason and Jessie and
